One of my favorites from Jordan Viray’s collection
Cool article on Jordan Viray’s vintage bag collection. Most of them are from the 1960s to 1990s.
Before I left my last job I worked on a bag project. Needless to say, I went balls deep down the rabbit hole. The more I looked I started picking up on what companies today have borrowed from past models.
For example:
- Maiden Noir X Head Porter Packable Waist Flow Bag Wish I would have pulled the trigger on this.
- Vintage Kelty Day Pack (Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the exact one in the picture above. I’ll probably be at eBay war with this guy in the future)
Probably not directly based off of that model, but you get the idea.
Now that I live in New York, i’ll definitely have to drop by Pilgrim Surf + Supply to see the collection in person.
Found my rat tail. #ordiditfindme? (at Crown Heights)
Nice handpainted sign down the street..just rusty enough to pull off the wall.
Moved to New York about 2 weeks ago today. Finally got approved for an apartment!
Wish I could work out of something like this. It’d probably be some kind of strip club that only offered hot wings and Budweiser. Oh and pull tabs. Gotta have those pull tabs.
Frank Lloyd Wright, 1946 | Source
A sheet of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s personal stationery; a much larger version of which is here. His studio letterhead has been featured on Letterheady previously.
Got these Purple Nike Pre Montreal Racers on my eBay listings.
Original Cut made them look so fresh…might end up keeping them. I dunno.
An Artist At Work.
Too good.
Thanks @jeffryone nice to meet you this weekend! (Taken with Instagram at Portland Tattoo Expo)
